In the year 2008 we have obtained small piece of land through (9 mtr x 12 mtr) Donation by one Mr. Swamy resident of Vajamangala Village in Mysuru Taluk under the Presidentship of Rtn. Nanjundaswamy and the Trust President Rtn. Chinnaswamy Y.G. we constructed a small room for our Rotary North School.
In the beginning we started Pre-Nursery, LKG and UKG for rural children of Vajamangala Village. During the year 2008-09 when Rtn. Mallaraje Urs M. was president of the club. We celebrated Silver Jubilee of our club. To commemorate the celebration constructed first floor where we started Tailoring class to rural women.
In the year 2010 Rtn. Yashaswi S. Somashekar became President of Rotary Mysore North Foundation Trust (R). He swung into action, put lot of efforts to improve the school. Trust secretary Rtn. Swamy M.J. and Treasurer Rtn. Rathnaraj M. strived to improve the school activities along with the guidance of Founder Trustee Rtn. Ramaprasad S.
In the year 2014-15 we constructed 4 class room building and run the classes upto 4th Standard. Appointed good Teaching Staff. Admission was improved year by year. In the year 2015-16 we added one more classroom, purchased computers under District Grant Scheme. The response was over helming. Again in the year 2016-17 we added another 2 classrooms now we are providing education from Pre-Nursery, LKG, UKG and upto 5th Standard. The strength of School is 290 students with 8 Teachers One Administrator and 3 Helpers.
All these work could possible by the support members of Rotary Mysore North, other Rotarian of Mysore city Rtn. Yashaswi S. Somashekar himself by provided maximum support for construction of class room. We added 2 children play equipments under District Grants in the year 2016-17.
Since school in growing in a good pace manner. We seek support of Philanthropic People.
